2009 - 2010 Tickets

I like many other Hawk Ticket holders got a very fancy packet in the mail recently. I have to admit that I have not fully looked through everything, but the highlights include not only a fancy folder with DVD included, but also information about ticket prices, how the games will be setup in each building and even more options as a ticket holder.

Like the Blazers, the Hawks will not have options for food to be included in the Garden as well as areas in both buildings that will be dedicated the more serious season ticket holders where things like the stoppage of play rules will be "strictly" enforced. "Strictly"... this is a manners thing, and some thing that I thought they were suppose to be enforcing anyway... so I can pay $60 extra bucks to have good manners enforced? Wow... It just so happens that my seats are in the new blue zone anyway, and I really like where my seats are so I will stay put, but come on Hawks...

The other change is that the attack zones are changing in the Garden. This interest me for two reasons... 1 - are the teams trading locker rooms or 2 - are the Hawks going to long changes in the Garden like Spokane does? My guess is that since the zones did not change at the MC, then the Hawks have changed dressing rooms at the Garden.

In other news, the Hawks have the fall camp info posted as well... I can tell you that this ownership group seems to be with it over all better then the previous group...

WHL representative to the Memorial Cup, Kelowna is rolling right on through to the Cup Finals on Sunday. It looks like the WHL could extend the winning streak for the Memorail Cup to 3 years with a win on Sunday, and of course the third win from a team in the west of the WHL too...
