Well, the trend goes on... Portland has swept Spokane in Spokane again, taking control of this first round series... the last two nights have been fantastic to watch this team grow up and face adversity, and of course succeed.
Portland is playing with extreme confidence. Players like Stefan Schneider and Chris Francis are leaving it all out there, and that is inspiring others. Luke Walker has found a new gear in the last three games and with Francis and Ollie Gabriel taking that number one line out there and applying constant pressure.
Going into Game 6, Portland needs to just keep playing hockey. At this point in the season there is no room to think about how to play. After 72 regular season games, the players have to just go out and play. Games 3 - 5 was Portland just going out and playing... not thinking, what do I do, don't get beat etc... Portland has taken the mojo and needs to finish on Monday at home. Lets rock the Garden!
