Whew... That was a close one... The Road Warrior Hawks went out and did it again, winning on the road to extend their season. Now the challenge is to win at home... I know they have to take this one game at a time, but the team has to change up something to actually win a home playoff game. The team is a whopping 0-5 at home... and of course they are 6-1 on the road too.
One interesting fact is that with all of the switching of goalies and goals scored in this series, Mac is 1-0 while Ian in 1-3... But enough of that... The Hawks are coming back to Portland with supposed home ice and the chance to advance to round three. TC knocked of Kelowna in 5 games so they are home resting and preparing for Portland or Vancouver. In the East Brandon and Calgary lead their pairings 3-2 leading towards a Brandon and Calgary final.
Back to the Hawks... once again last night Portland won the fore check. It seems to be their main thing to win these days. Portland has to come home and play like a road game... play with their backs against the wall, and just go play. Portland has a great chance to win game 6, heck they can't go 0-6 at home, can they?
